The Zest-it® Dip Pen Nib Cleaner has received much praise from the 'inking' community for its cleaning ability
and ease of use with Dip Pens and others of a similar style.
The Dip Pen Nib Cleaner can be used to remove ink from canvas, canvas board and some drawing surfaces,
this short video gives an introduction.
Transcript of the video. A Dip Pen Nib is used to apply Indian Ink to the canvas in the form of the word 'Ink' with a trailing squiggle. A bottle of Zest-it Dip Pen Nib Cleaner is opened and a small quantity is poured into the empty pot. The cap is replaced on the bottle. A Filbert brush that has bristle filaments is dipped into the fluid in the pot and placed onto the 'Ink' word, using a left-right action the Dip Pen Nib Cleaner is applied. Kitchen towel is used to remove the now inky Dip Pen Nib Cleaner. The brush is wiped on kitchen towel before dipping into the fluid again. (keeps the fluid cleaner) More Dip Pen Nib Cleaner fluid is applied and worked into the ink, the dirty fluid is again removed with paper towel. This process is repeated once more and the residue removed. All the applied ink has been removed by the Zest-it Dip Pen nib Cleaner, the surface can be wiped with a water damp cloth and left to dry before re-use. Wash the brush and your hands with soap and water. Lid the pot and label with the contents because it can be used many times. Ink can be removed from any non-porous surface in this way, even old, stubborn, dried on ink. If you wish to Subscribe please visit our Zest-it Channel Copyright Jacqui Blackman 2010 |
